Differences

Our differences make us special,
it is no more black and white.
It's all colors of the rainbow,
that make the world so right.

It is a blending of the races
that continue day by day
and it is God who made all people
in his very special way.

So who are we to judge another
for the color of their skin
for it is God who made all people
the one who's always been

So when we have a hatred and
that goes for black and white
because of ones complexion
then we doubt Gods work and might.

God made all the angels the sun,
the moon and stars
He also made the animals
look how different they all are

Respect and love each other
and open up your mind
to all the world around you and
let your heart be kind
For when you die and go to heaven
God just may not let you in
It will be because of all your hatred
and not the color of your skin.

THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER! A SAYING WE RECALL
BUT IS IT REALLY GREENER THERE OR DIFFERENT AT ALL

IT SEEMS THAT MOSTLY ALL THE TIME THE PROBLEMS THAT WE LEAVE
MYSTERIOUSLY SEEM TO REAPPEAR IN NEW RELATIONSHIPS WE WEAVE

THE CHANGE MUST BE WITHIN OURSELVES WE SEEM TO BLAME THE OTHER
WE’RE SURE THAT ALL IS GONNA CHANGE WHEN WE GET ANOTHER

OH THAT GREENER GRASS YOU’RE SEARCHING FOR YOU’LL NEVER FIND, I’M SURE
UNLESS YOU START WITHIN YOUR HEART YOU’LL BE SEARCHING EVERMORE

GRASS NEEDS TO BE WATERED EVERYDAY AND TO BE SOFTLY SPOKEN TO
GRASS NEEDS THE SUN NOT JUST THE RAIN TO MAKE THAT GREEN SHINE
THROUGH

GRASS ALSO NEEDS A LOT OF LOVE TO MAKE IT GROW REAL TALL
AND SHOULD YOU NEGLECT ANYONE OF THESE IT WILL NOT GROW AT
ALL

SO BEFORE YOU SEARCH FOR GREENER GRASS STOP AND TAKE A GLANCE
OF THE GREEN GRASS GOD HAS BLESSED YOU WITH THAT YOU MAY
WANT TO GIVE THAT CHANCE

SOMETIMES WE MOVE TOO HASTELY AND THEN TRY TO RECOVER
THE LOVES WE LEFT TORN ALL APART AND BY THEN THEY HAVE ANOTHER

SO GO AHEAD AND GIVE THAT CHANCE I’M SURE YOU’LL BE SURPRISED

The Truth Will Set You Free!

Oh dear God I thank you for opening the door
For giving me this insight that I did not have before
We tend to look at everything through only just our eyes
But when we put on other’s shoes is where the real trust lies
We may not know the burdens that may weigh some of us down
The secrets that some carry each and everyday around
Lives get torn and shattered by these past secrets that we fear
And worry if the truth be known it would be hard to bare
Life is not a dress rehearsal you only have just one
Each moment dear that passes cannot ever be redone
Nothing is so bad in life to worry it away
To waken up each morning to another wasted day
So open up your heart and no matter what you find
I’m sure it will be better if you ease your worried mind

To let me see another side
I hadn’t seen before

What is Love?

LOVE is romantic, warm, and tender.
LOVE is always giving from what I could remember.
LOVE is gentle, it’s kind and soft spoken too.
LOVE never should hurt you or make you feel blue.
LOVE is giving 100% to the other.
LOVE is being their best friend and their best lover.
LOVE is always doing your best and yet,
LOVE’s remembering the small things we tend to forget.
LOVE’s that passionate kiss that never lets go.
LOVE’s that feeling inside you that makes you just know.
LOVE’s always there through the hard time too.
LOVE gives you strength to see it all through
LOVE will grow if both really try.
LOVE needs to be nourished or it surely will die.
LOVE says I’m sorry when it has to be said.
LOVE listens carefully even in bed.
LOVE is the respect you give one another.
LOVE’s absolutely doing your best for the other.
LOVE is the best thing that can happen in life.
LOVE is what makes a good husband and wife.
LOVE is what God sent Jesus to show.
LOVE is something we never outgrow.

What Cancer
CANNOT DO…
CANCER IS SO LIMITED!

It cannot cripple love…
It cannot shatter hope…
It cannot corrode faith…
It cannot destroy peace…
It cannot kill friendship…
It cannot suppress memories…
It cannot silence courage…
It cannot invade the soul…
It cannot steal eternal life…
It cannot conquer Spirit

Cancer cannot cripple love,
it is not that strong you see

It cannot shatter hopes and dreams
and what you mean to me

It cannot corrode our faith in our Savior up above
It cannot destroy our peace inside which
God has sent with love

It cannot kill our friendship which grows
stronger every day
It cannot suppress our memories,
No, it can’t take them away

It cannot take my courage to beat this and be cured
It cannot invade the soul of which our Father
God has pured

It cannot kill eternal life which God has given from the start
It cannot conquer the Holy Spirit which is safe within our heart

So devil you can go now…for God has us in His care,
for He is much more stronger
than any cancer you put there
